ZTP (Zero Touch Provisioning) is a function that running on switch, which can auto load configuration from ZTP server when the switch boot for the first time.
ZTP is active by default, and you can’t manually configure the switch during the ZTP provisioning.
Here is the guideline to check whether the ZTP is running.
Note: At this moment, the configure file “config_db.json” will not generate by switch, which means the switch still waiting for ZTP configure, and can’t perform any service or traffic forwarding.
In order to configure switch manually, it needs to disable the ZTP service first, the command is “sudo config ztp disable”
check the ZTP service again.
After disable ZTP service, you will find configuration file “config_db.json”, and the default configuration will be loaded to the switch.
Now you can start to configure the switch manually.
